I visited Dr. Christoforou’s office for the first time in 2009 at the age 47; I went to her because I was feeling broken. I was tired, my joints ached, I had very low energy and despite regularly visiting the gym I could not build muscle and I was putting on weight. The doctor started me off with a 1 month cleanse,which, once complete, determined that I had food sensitivities. She gave me supplements to help build up nutrients that my body was lacking as well as direction on the proper foods to eat to decrease the inflammation in my body. It didn’t take long for me to start to feel strong and healthy again and after almost 4 years I feel better now then I did in my twenties. I credit Dr. Christoforou for my current health. I believe that if I hadn’t made the choice to visit her I would be taking blood pressure and cholesterol medications by now and my quality of life would be affected. Recently my dentist noted that my teeth had remineralized and he confirmed a link between food sensitivities and dental decay.
